QuickBooks desktop versions have a maximum name length of 31.  So the QuickBooks item name cannot be more than 31 characters.

If your eBay item or Channel Advisor (or any store or eCommerce system) has a name longer than 31 characters it cannot be imported into QuickBooks as such.

Therefore the Intergrator must either truncate or reject this item/order.

There is a settings on the QB Additional Ssettings tab.
Item Truncation is Err.  This will generate a Yes, No, Cancel Error message.

So have to eliminate the message.
1.  Do not have item names longer that 31 characters.  Change your eBay / Channel Advisor name. (recommended)
2.  Use a different field for the QuickBooks item name via our map file.
3.  Use our Lookup and Replacement feature to change the name of the item as it is used in QuickBooks.
4.  Uncheck Item Truncation is Err and the program will do it without a message.
5.  Change the Stop on Error to None (not recommended).

Please check our Operations.pdf for more details.
